God and our relation to Him

Fellowship

Fitness

How does this fit into Biking to Church?
We share faith in the triune God. We believe that He created the world, created us, and saved us from our sins. We believe that biking to church can accomplish several things:
- We can have fellowship with other believers.
- We can share our relationship with Jesus Christ with those who don't believe while riding the streets of our communities.
- By bicycling regularly to church and elsewhere, we do not use as many resources as we would driving. We are being wise stewards of what God has given us.
- We are not putting as many materials into our environment which could be harmful to what God has created.
- We are not caring about our environment out of fear, but rather because it is what God has asked us to do from the very beginning of creation.
- By conserving resources and not causing harm to the environment we are also loving our neighbor, because we are protecting those resources that we all share. Those that have less than us are less able to deal with the consequences of damage to our environment.
- By bicycling regularly to church and elsewhere, we are keeping our bodies fit. If they are temples of the Holy Spirit, we should treat them with care.
